Okay, so I just bought an EPROM from a fairly reliable source and the EPROM part number matches nothing I can find. The casing is not the typical style that is found in a DSM. The part number is 131842. Below that is E2T34376. Under that is 8419. The EPROM chip reads E670 and both R129 and R130 resistors are there. So what ERPOM do I have? Is there even a non-turbo EPROM? I found a close match to the part# being MD131843. Is this going to work or not?

So I got some good news (kinda) from ECUTuning and the EPROM I have is from an 89 Mirage Turbo 1.6L. The good news is he says it is compatible with DSMLink, but I lose boost gauge control. (not an issue) The word is that the non-turbo EPROM has only 4 black chips lined up across from the EPROM as opposed to 6 on the turbo. Thought I would post these findings for those who are interested. :thumb:

Here's a photo of it.

I don't see how you would loose the boost gauge. The PCB is the same. The knock board is what is important. And yes their are NA EPROM ECU's. I've converted a few to turbo ECU's. You just have to have some bad ECU's to take the knock board and a few of the Drivers from to make it a Turbo ECU. And the injector filters and a couple other components like a few resisters and a Jumper if I remember.

It's more the code on the EPROM. But if their is a small circuit that I can't see in the pic that is needed for the boost gauge you can get that fitted if you wanted the stock boost gauge. I've been debating on getting a NA cluster for more of a sleeper look.
