Hello,
I have a few questions about the 4g63 non-turbo ECU's.

First, are any of them EEPROM ECU's? If not, then the rest of this post wont matter.

If they ARE... Could one take the EEPROM chip from a turbocharged car and use it in a non-turbo ECU to run a turbocharged car?

I was just a bit bored and started brainstorming about things. As far as I know it should work...

...Key words being "as far as I know" (which isn't much) :p

as far as i know of it wont work cause the nt ecu dont have a knock circiut, and the fuel maps are different.

and the nt ecu's have eproms also.

The fuel map info should be stored in the EEPROM.

I'm just wondering, since I could get one for next to nothing, and I have a couple knock sensor boards laying around. It would be nice to have a working spare (which I will have in the very near future anyway..... this is more of just an experiment I guess)
