Alright so upon recent discovery, i realized my BOV isn't recirculated. pretty flamboyant right?

Anyways im tired of my car sneezing every time i finish accelerating so im going to hook it up, the problem is, my cold air intake doesnt have a fitting for it.

So here is my question: how can i hook it up to my metal CAI? Ive never welded before but i could see that to be the easiest way. any other methods? id like to keep price in mind here

how about drilling a hole and fitting in a piece of pvc piping , Then just seal it with jb weld.

I read someone did that a while back.

Another alternative could be a GM maft to vent and have no ill effects.

thats definitely one way to do it. I guess thats a good Plan B if nothing else turns up. Also i wont get the translator because the bov noise is too loud to me.

Use fiberglass and make a new intake with fitting for BOV. Will cost you about $20 in resin/hardener (for quart), about $5 for fiberglass mat, and some for pieces of pipe for the ends. Or use fiberglass instead of JBWeld for the other idea, that way it will look like a collar over the intake with BOV tube fitting instead of a glob of JBWeld.

Or buy a 1g intake pipe with the recirculation part and sell yours. I saw one on ebay earlier for like $45 I think.

Heck, for $40 I'll send him one!

Heck, ill buy it for 20! otherwise ill just mod my current one because its nicer

It's hard to ship something that awkward for cheap. $20 would leave zero profit for most.

what material is the intake that you have installed now? If it is aluminum just get a piece of pipe welded to it. You could also try drilling and partially tapping it but most pipes won't be thick enough but you might get lucky.

Get a short section of aluminum tube (most likely be charged scrap price at a metal yard) the same diameter as your bov outlet, take the tube (like 3" long piece) and cut it in half at a 90* angle, then get the appropriate size hole saw or any way necessary to cut a hole in the intake. Then have a welder weld the two pieces in an L and weld it on the intake with a rubber tube between... by then you could buy a new intake like already stated...

That's the correct way of doing it...

What bov do you have anyway, is it a bell style outlet or recirculating style?

Well, if you've got a buddy to weld it up the do it the right way :) don't f around with jb weld and other things that are prone to cracking or coming loose over time. It would cost you $5 in aluminum and maybe a hole saw... or drill it 1/2" and dremel the rest?
