Noisy locking differential

Is it normal for a car with a locking diff to make excess drivetrain noise? Theres,alot of clunking and clicking noises through deacclerating coasting in gear and taking quick turns

What do you mean by locking diff? You mean viscous LSD? Either way you shouldnt be hearing any noises, especially during deceleration.

check your drive shaft bushings when they get old they start making all kinds of clunking noise
