Noise problem, 91 laser

Whenever my car is moving I hear a high pitch noise from the wheels. It sounds like a grinding noise. I thought it was the breaks and changed them the other day. The old one's looked fine, and after replacing the brakes the noise was still there. Any ideas of what it might be. It goes away when I apply the brakes. Thanks for your input.

Im not sure, but maybe check the heat shield next to the rotor and make sure it isnt rubbing.

Does the noise go away when you turn the car one way or the other releasing some load from the wheel? My 1g had a bad wheel bearing which made a nasty noise.

The noise seemed to disappear for the mst part but comes back every now and then. I notice it a little when I turn and I'm starting to think it's either the wheel bearings or the rear brakes.
