i just installed a autometer boost gauge and i hooked it up to the line from the pressure regulator at the upper right part of the engine. its all hooked up next to the hose that has the blue dashed lines and the one i have it hooked to goes to the manifold. it reads boost but no vacum. this is on a 92 talon tsi a/t. i hooked my other one on my 2g like 8 months ago had no probs and it reads vacum, whats the matter with this one???

Connect your boost gauge line to another port on your intake manifold. You're getting no vac because the line you're tapped into goes to a solenoid that stays shut on warm restarts, so it's not seeing the vacum at the intake manifold.

oh well i thought i could connect the same hose like oon my 2g. the hose goes to the middle of the amnifold next to the sparkplug coil. i figured thats after the tb so it would read vacum have any pics where i can hook it up to get vacum i thought thats the only line thats after the tb that show vacum?

if it's coming off the manifold, you should be fine. I thought you had it coming off of the fuel pressure regulator. But if you have a 92, you should have a few unused vacum ports on the throttle body, just hook it up directly to one of those.
