hey guys im working on my brother-in-laws 420a and I cant get it to start. Im more of a 4g63 guy and I need some help. I cant get it to start and I thought it was fuel so I replaced the fuel relays on the fire wall and i also replaced all the 30,40,60 amp fuses under the hood and still nothing...What else can it be that it wont start? it tries to start but nothing it tries to turn over. its not the battery so dont ask! if anyone has any ideas please help!

What were you doing BEFORE it didnt start? What were you installing?

If nothing, and the car was just bought and refuses to fire up, its could be many different things..

Fuel, fire, and compression; you need all three to start a car. Find out which one you're lacking so we can better help you.

Check the cranking fuel pressure, check for spark, and check the compression.

If you have all three, then my bet is that either your crank angle position sensor or camshaft position sensor is bad, or not connected correctly.

Why don't you do some tests to see what you lost? Fire? Fuel? etc. Do a spark test and fuel pressure test and an injector pulse test and get back to us.

Good Luck
