Hi my GS 98 non turbo Crank but no start, crankshaft sensor ground (Black and green) its hot with a 4.8V why?

Why happen that,? am connected black/green at (-) battery and nothing happens , can you tell me pin out of crankshaftBecause it's no longer connected to ground so it floats to +5v.
That’s right , ground cable it’s going to J/c B82 with a multiple Comun grounds like iat vss cmps crkps etc, black and green cable have 4.97 on crankshaft and transmission module so I don’t know where look at, the crankshaft only send 4.5v trough ground cable only when it’s connected crankshaft sensor I don’t no why.Black/green should go to PCM pin 43 which is a ground inside the PCM (Powertrain Control Module which is the non-turbo's ECU). It must go here instead of battery negative to prevent noise and ground loops. However your black/green is probably broken (or has a bad connection) somewhere. The blue/white goes to PCM pin 32 which is for the signal and has a +5v pull-up. The yellow goes to PCM pin 44 to an +8v supply.
Hello buddy, my harness was checked and yeah black and green was broke together at yellow cable , so I fixed and now all my grounds are good , but I have new issues now, when my key set up on start position MFI relay connect and disconnect faster , don’t send 12v signal to my coil , am checked cam sensor and I don’t know why my sensor it’s on continuity between blue and white cable and ground cable but only when I try start , wt)&&;$& with this wiringWith 4.5v on the black/green only when it’s connected to the crankshaft sensor, that PROVES it's floating through the crankshaft sensor (being pulled up to 4.5v). So your black/green is broken (or has bad/no connection) somewhere between the crankshaft sensor and where it connects to eventually go to PCM pin 43 (either that or you've got the PCM grounding connection disrupted - you don't have the PCM unplugged or removed do you?). I'd check its connector first to see if there's a bad connection or its pin isn't locked in place (when the connector is pushed together). Then briefly check/bend the wire around the sensor for breaks. If you can't find it, you can always just add a new wire from the black/green close to the sensor to another black/green that goes to one of the other nearby sensors.
1- yesYa, sorry I'm having difficulty understanding what you are trying to say.
1) The MFI relay on the 420A is called the ASD (Auto Shutdown) relay. It's on the engine firewall driver's side. It powers many things including the PCM. And the PCM powers many sensors.
2) When you say "when my key set up on start position MFI relay connect and disconnect faster". Do you mean that relay is chattering (going on/off quickly) instead of staying on like it's supposed to?
3) When you say "am checked cam sensor and I don’t know why my sensor it’s on continuity between blue and white cable and ground cable". What relay are you referring to and what do you mean? If you mean the camshaft position sensor, there is no blue-white cable. It has a blue-red wire (maybe the red is faded and so looks white?) but there shouldn't be continuity to ground on it anyway.
Good morning , updating now, so am test my cmp and ckp and they are working now my asd relay have 12 v when engine cranks , but don’t start yet I don’t have spark , but my scanner now read a tps issues p0132 and p0133If your ASD (aka MFI) relay is chattering it's typically because:
1) the relay is bad or
2) the PCM which turns the ASD relay on (by holding a ground on the red-white wire coming from PCM pin 67) is not working properly. Example: This red-white wire may have an intermittent connection, or the PCM itself may be bad, or often the PCM may have some intermittently bad sensor input which the PCM needs to power itself up properly and completely (eg. a sensor input to the PCM is switching between good and bad which makes the PCM switch on and off), or
3) The battery voltage is so low that the PCM can't power up properly.
Sorry p0122 and p0123P0132 and P0133 are electrical problems with the engine O2 sensor (or it's wiring harness).
Yes I know but I need know about if those problems make my car don’t have a sparks plugThose are Throttle Position Sensor voltage low and high.
