All Stock
5 speed
Speedometer never worked.
Car would get a little hot but usually
go right back down. Did this daily.

Car randomly started shutting off while driving
but always immediately started back up.

Finally shut off on me one day and wouldn't start back up.
All lights come on, fuel pump kicks on etc.

Parts Replaced since it shut off:
Crank shaft sensor
Cam Position Sensor
Coil pack
Spark plugs
Both relays on firewall
Checked for codes: None that would cause a no start.

Things I haven't checked:
Timing
Compression

No spark on cylinders #1 and #4
But If I unplug my Cam position sensor,
then I get a light spark on #1 and #4.
(Using a screw driver)

While taking off the cover to check for timing I noticed
there was this piece of metal wrapped around my cam sprocket?!
I never heard this make noise, and i don't have ANY leaks.

Anyone have an idea?
Im getting tired of riding the bus in 10 degree weather LOL.

Looks like a cam shaft oil seal that came out and got chewed up by the cam gear. Do you see both camshaft seals pressed in? If oil seal in fact came out, then perhaps most of the engine oil leaked out through the camshaft bearing and engine died? Check the oil level and try to turn the crank.

I tried looking behind the sprockets but I can't really see much.

It looks like a cam oil seal to me as well but I don't and have never
had any oil leaks with this car. All oil is still in the car.

I'm turning the crank by hand right now and it is turning fine.
(Im checking the engine time right now)

Check the fuel pressure, spark plugs, ignition coils, spark plug cables, reseat cables to sensors like CAS.

I'm only getting spark in all cylinders after I unplug the CAS.
Once it is plugged in then all cylinders fire(Although 1 and 4 are
still kind of weak, I can still see a spark)

I've taken all spark plugs out, cleaned them. (All Looked Fine)
I've cleaned and tried everything with the CAS including buying a new one.
I haven't found any broken/flared wires that follow back to the ECU either.
Forgot to mention, I also bought a new used ECU thinking mine was fried.

I have a nice multi meter but I don't know how to use it LOL.

Also, I'm pretty sure i'm getting fuel even though I havent checked for pressure.
I can hear the pump kick on, I can also smell the fuel on the spark plugs after
I try starting and take them out.

Sounds like you are getting a spark. Perhaps fuel pressure regulator is bad?
If fuel pressure verifies to be correct, then throw a new set of plugs and wires.

Why would the fuel pressure regulator cause a no spark issue?

&& the plugs and wires work fine, they look new as well.
Remember, they will work fine once the CAS is unplugged.

Sounds like maybe there is a short either in the wiring harness for the CAS or depending on where you got the CAS it maybe bad as well.

I got it from autozone, should I try an actual OEM CAS? Have there been other cases of bad CAS's from autozone/advance auto parts?

&& How would I go about checking the wiring for the CAS?

If fuel pressure was low due to faulty fpr or a weak fuel pump, there would not be enough fuel to start the engine.

Would the engine start with CAS unplugged and not start with CAS plugged in?

Yes but fuel has nothing to do with my no spark issue.
Doesn't matter if I have 80psi or 10psi in fuel pressure,
If I have no spark, it won't matter.

Car doesn't run with or without CAS plugged in.

Do a timing check. Here's a quickie way to see if you are far off (go to post #6); http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/452065-car-will-not-start-completely-lost.html

Thanks yeah that makes sense.
I went out and did this but it is still kind of hard to understand.

The only time I have TDC on #1 is when the timing mark on the intake
side(Left cam) is facing 9'o clock.

When I have the timing marks on the cams face each other ><
They seem to be pretty even with each other.

in post#5 you said there was spark. My comment was based on the info you provided. If you see a spark on all plugs, then car should start if you have proper air/fuel mixture. Verify all timing marks are lined up (camshaft gears, crank pulley, oil pump gear).
