1G no spark/ no injector pulse

alright check it out..i have a 1991 talon tsi all stock..i bought it from this dude for 300 bucks. everything is there and complete but has been sitting since 98..it was his nephews or some shit who went to another country..anyway i brought it home cleaned it up and all the other good stuff..the car is not getting any spark and there is no injector pulse..im thinkin ecu but im new to these cars and wanted more opinions..thanks

so which of the 2 new items you replaced actually fixed it or were they both bad?

ya they were both bad..when i pulled the ecu out it smelled like crap..so i got another one put it in and still had no spark but all the engine lights went off and my tach and shit started to work..so i put a new cas in it and it started right up..ya it blows ### its stock but atleast it runs now
