No Spark !!! Bought car not running

HI there I helped a friend buy a 93 awd talon with jdm motor swap, it wasnt running cause the bellhousing was cracked and was rubbing on the flywheel. So we pulled the tranny and replaced the clutch while we were in there. I bought A 90 tranny that was shot and swapped the bellhousings. Then I put it back togeather. I didnt put the little metal gasget you could say that goes between the block and the bellhousing so I had to get some spacers on the starter motor so it wouldn't grind aginst the flywheel. So I have the car cranking good now but I have no spark!!! So now I am checking out the igntion pack and Coil. I hooked up my palm with mmcd on it and it tells the tps and cas error codes I am getting those two erros now but heres a catch, the biggest plug of three that plug into the ecu was cutoff just cut off seriously. So i went to a junk yard and cut off the group of 23 wires then there was like 3 wires within that loom, it came off a 91 gst laser. When I went to hook up the wires to mine that were cut off I have all 23 wires and then i went to do the 3 inside of that loom and there were like 5 more wires that had no place to go on the set I just cut off. and when I looked at the diagram on http://www.vfaq.com/mods/ecu-harness-1G.html I saw that this has both of the cel error im getting with in the wirring on its plug. Im im getting a cas error would that be why im not getting a spark? or did I wire it up wrong but all the wire were match up right all the colors match up perfectly I just have 5 wires that have no home did they change something on the wiring harnes? if every thing works like is suppoest to and cas is bad or whatever can I get a spark or sence it bad or getting the error it wouldn't know when to right? Sorry for poor gramer and spelling and composure of sentances.

So what I need to know to get any where

What is required for me to get a spark? (i.e. how many parts help deliver a spark how many think to check etc.)

The five wires that aren't hooked up are most likely your problem.

You should have three wires going to the CAS (Cam Angle Sensor) which is a small can-looking item on the passenger side of your cylinder head. Three wires should go to this.

There should also be one wire going to the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) which is a black plug on the front of the throttle body.

Without the CAS signal, the engine has no idea where the engine is at in its revolution, and has no way to time ignition signals. Without this, it won't fire the ignition coil.

Well sence I had a data logger I was able to fix the tps problem and the cas there were 3 black wires that the cas sensor wire could have connected to so I just had to try them all and for the tps there were two green white wires so I just switched them and it worked. Now I just have to get the oil gauge and the temp gauge to work I got the motor to start the turbo leaks oil but the motor hasnt been started in over a year. now if I can get the tranny to let me shift while the car running I will be good. I put a ACT2600 in so now i got to Figer that out. I noticed that temp guage was on the same ecu plug as the other but I dont know where the oil one is.

The Oil Pressure Gauge wire should be a tealish-blue wire that is in the same harness as your alternator. Take a look at the second and fourth images I attached in my second post in the thread below. The connector is number B-22.
