i have a 95 talon tsi awd with a 14b turbo swap car pulls amazing once it hits boost but just cruising in it at like 3000 rpms or lower u floor it and it barely pulls and feels like its being held back and let go over and over until until it hits boost or goes over 60mph sometimes it feels like I lose power for a split second and then it surges power again ....basically after its at 3000 or higher it feels normal....is it a vacuum leak or exhaust leak or both?

i think my exhaust is a little loose because it sounds way louder but sound is from the middle of the car not so much the muffler

also once i floor it and eventually hit boost it always feels like the car shift slightly to the left once i let go of the gas the steering wheel straightens out ...this always happens?:|:|

Sounds almost like normal turbo lag, but maybe a bit worse than it should be. Maybe get your car up on jackstands and check for exhaust leaks if you think you can hear one coming from the middle of the car. Also if the car pulls when you get on it then it could be either torque steer or it could be an issue with your alignment. I'd go with alignment, as torque steer is usually more of a FWD problem.

Yea it never pulled liked that with my t25 turbo.....ill get it aligned then

i tightened the exhaust all i could but i think it still loose a lil ill try using hi temp rtv

i dont think its turbo lag because its bad like the rpms are rising and the engine sputters and the rpms drop for like 2 seconds then rise again hit boost and its fine its just that it never did that before is it supposed to do that with the 14b swap?

can it b the vacuum hoses on the throttle body....i saw the diagram but im confused can i just remove them and ### can i cap them off with?

If you want to cap off vacuum sources they make vacuum caps, which oddly enough do exactly what their name implies. They sell them at Autozone, Pep Boys, whatever. Also, have you tried either switching your plugs? I would pull your plugs if this problem persists and replace them. Make sure you use NGK BPR7es or BPR6es properly gapped. Use a feeler type gapping tool, not a coin type.
