After getting my 90 tsi, I noticed that the rear wheels are not working.
I have put the car on jack stands and then put it in gear and the rear does not move. The drive shaft will spin to the rear, but the wheels dont move. The car is just front wheel drive. I have spun the rear by hand and it acts like there is not a diff in the rear. each rear wheel will spin freely by hand, but when I spin one the other does not rotate like a normal diff would. When spun there is no noise from the rear. I have been driving the car and it drives fine, just fwd right now. Has anyone run across this? could it be the rear is out
I have asked local so called DSM tuners, and they are clueless. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
