I was driving home and the car was runing just fine as always. I had to stop at my soldiers house for like 20 mins. So I turn off the car and the turbo timer takes over from there and turn it off 60 sec. later. I get back out to my car go to turn the car over and i have no power to anything except the ring around the ignition key and the open door light on the dash. Other then that everything else is dead. I had to run a hot wire to the ignition switch from the battery and got power to run the car back home but i had to push start it because i guess no power to the starter. I bought a new ignition switch and and replaced every fuse the car has and still nothing.
ANY SUGESTIONS BEFOR I BLOW UP THE CAR:confused:

I just had what sounds like is the exact same problem. Check the fusible link that is connected to your positive battery terminal. It is a 30amp female fuse that you can just pull out. If you look in the little window, you should see if the connection is brunt and broken or not. This was the problem I had in my car. I burnt out the ignition fuse. I got one from Schucks for $5...WTF but once I plugged it in and the car started... I was happy about it.

In the fuse box, there are a couple fuses that have wires bolted to them too. Make sure those are actually bolted in and are tight. When mine was loose, I had a lot of weird electrical issues.

Thanks AlaskanDSM. With the battery in the rear of the car the kid i bought it from put in another fuse block that i checked but not good enough i guess. So i replaced the bad fuse and now i try and turn it over and it just clicks. Not like dead battery click the starter relay by the ecu is clicking so is the starter bad too?

I have never had this many problems with a DSM:ohdamn:

unfortunately I am not a very electrical savvy person but I am at least glad to hear that I was able to help get power somewhere. Are you able to get the inside accessories to turn on? (radio, fans, etc.) This at least will tell you if the ignition fuse is working properly. Sorry I am not of much else help. It is possible that the starter is bad but check to make sure that the battery is charged just in case.

I am geting power to everything now and the battery is charged. I thought that was the problem after i got the power issue fixed but i even tried jumping it off with my truck and nothing. so i guess ill just pull the starter and test it out.
