No keys or door handles, what do I do?

Hello everyone, I just picked up a 95 gs today and the guy lost the key. So no big deal, just go have a mitsu dealer make me one of the vin. I guess I didn't look close enough to realize the door handles key holes are gone? WTF They are definitively not original because they are a baby blue and the cars teal haha. So, what should I do about this whole situation? If I get new door handles then the new key will not work with them?

Swap the door handles, ignition, and trunk cylinder out from your Talon and use your Talon's keys.

The lock is interchangeable in the handle, they might just be sitting inside the door attached to the rod. I'd pull the door panel off and look.

Well...my Talon key only works in the ignition not the doors or hatch..why!

I had the same problem. The locks might be frozen up. PM me and il walk you through it

When I got my 2g it was missing the door handle.
I just pushed down on the rod in the door to open it.

Well I just got my passenger door to lock, but I can't unlock it, hah the door handles are just messed up, I think I am going to use the talon keys in the eclipse to save the hassle, I have another question though, my gs is hit in the door and it doesn't seem worth saving, my talon door is in perfect condition but the internals are manual. The gs is all auto, how hard is it to switch all of the guts of the doors?

If possible, find a different car. Why does it have to be this one? It's already problematic from the start.

I just picked this one up because my Talon is rusted out and this body is good. I have parts to swap, I'm not someone who buys something already working. I dont mind doing a little work to get what I want
