Toronto,
The car was running fine until l yesterday...
It just quit... and would not start again.
There is no fuel/spark.
I replaced the ignition coil, CAS, and looked briefly at the ECU the caps are fine and have been replaced a year ago.
All fuses look good.
What I noticed, though, it that when you turn the ingnition key to on position, the CEL light does not come on and shut off after a short while, like it did before.
Also on the MAFT, all the lights are dead.
I disconnected the MAFT to make sure that was not the problem.
Aside from the ECU being bad, I don't know what else to try?
If there is plenty of fuel spraying out of the return line, that means the fuel pump is working, right?

Quit while you were driving?

if you dont have a working maf (connected) your car is not going to run.

you disconected it and what happend how did you check it???

if its not working nothing is going to change by disconnecting it????

shit well looks like you pretty much checked everything.

easy way to see if your injectors are working right and your getting fuel in the cylinders is to pull the rail and hold the injectors in the rail while someone cranks it. catch the fuel with rags and careful of your eyes.

other than that sounds like a short somewhere with the spark problem seems like you checked it out good.

swap in a working ecu just to check

ECU might of took a shit on you.

no spark and no fuel all the sudden is weird has to be the ecu.

can you pull a code out of the ecu?
and you have no spark at all any where correct?

Yup, no spark no fuel.
I am pretty sure the injectors are not working, since I pulled the plugs after repeated cranking and they are dry.
I'll try a different ECU later I hope.
