I did the 6 bolt swap and i am not getting any spark or fuel in the cylinder, but i am gettin fuel pressure. is there a way to test the cas to see if it is sendin a signal to fire the spark plug, or tellin the injectors to open.
Thanx

Few things will cause a no fuel/spark situation:

blown EFI fuse
ECU problems
Cam Angle Sensor problems

Give those a look and see what happens
:D

Well I took the 7 bolt out and put the 6 bolt in, and hte ecu was workin before the swap. I have an extra 95 ecu to try, but i am leanin more towards the cas failure, but i need to know how i can tell if there is a problem with the cas.

Another thing to consider . . . on the 7-bolt, if the ECU is not getting a signal from the Crank Position Sensor, the result will be no fuel or spark. Not sure if the 6-bolt has one or not, but might want to check that out also.

well, on the 6 bolt the crank positiion sensor and the cam position sensor are both on the Cas on the end of the cam shaft. I am leaning towards there being a problem with this, so i am hopin someone has a method to test the cas
Thanx

the problem ended up being a Cas that was wired incorrectly. I didn't do the wiring myself and I trusted the wiring job. HOwever, after further investigation the power wire from the cas was going to a signal wire for the harness. :thumbdown Car runs now.
Thanx

don't forget to rewire the fou injector wires on the ECU or it won't run smoothly. AND MAKE SURE YOU SET YOUR TIMING CORRECTLY OR YOU CAN BLOW YOUR MOTOR.

I didn't rewire the injector wires on the ecu, b/c the website said i only needed to do that to make the car run smothly, but it runs pretty smoothly, and i set the cas on teh top of the head to the middle. HOwever, When i make boost and i floor it the car backfires or something, I can't figure out what it is. I am getin dsmlink soon, so hopefully this will solve problems, but it should be able to be driven hard now, so I am not sure, N e suggestions?

I'd say if you're backfiring @ WOT, sounds like either a timing issue or perhaps you're just loading up on fuel.

On a side-note, congrats on choosing DSMLink :D . . . but it will most likely not solve your problem . . . only aid as another tool in trying to decipher what's really wrong
