So my 2g was starting, running fine. I changed the trans fluid, removed all the speakers, looped the egr lines, and removed cut wires in the stereo area. I turn the key to on, everything seems fine. But when I take the e-brake off, the brake light stays on, just dim. There is no click from the starter, and I checked the starter wire (black w/yellow stripe). I also attempted to start the car via jumper cables, nogo and popping the clutch, nogo.

Anyone have any ideas??

Also, I have searched and found nothing.

Are you sure the wires you cut in the stereo area, were only stereo?

Yea, they weren't connected to anything. Old stereo wires that were cut under the passenger floorboard. Also, now the left blinker indicater light is solid on the dash with the headlights. The front and rear blinkers are not on...

maybe it might have been an ecu wire i dont know how un molested your car is but if the wires werent in the sheething maybe you might have mistaken one for a stereo wires

But even if the ecu wiring is messed up, it should crank... Also, the ecu can't leave the brake (dim) and blinker lights on, can it?

Ok, so after working on it all day. The starter relay is kicking on. So is the MFI relay. Tested the Starter wire (black w/yellow stripe), nothing. I hooked a simple wire to the starter and tapped it to the battery, car started. Ran very rough for a few sec, but thats from low fuel pressure till the pump can catch up. I've checked all the wires, nothing is exposed, rusted, or cut (as far as I can see). I've been comparing my car to the electrical manual, but I'm color blind....So that hasn't been going that great.

Anything that I should check? Any help would be great!!
