My gst runs bad at idle.Checked everthing and cinder 3 read 50 the rest 150 and 160 any help before I tear down.

Should I just put a new head on.Have to do something number 3 cinder might have a hole in piston ### the plug looked like something hit it

How u no I did have a lot of oil around plugs.Time for 6bolt swap what all do u have to change to do so

Have you taken your head off yet to check your cylinder. My first guess for bad compression is your valves, and would do a leak down test to verify.

Find your problem before jumping to a new block.

Here is what you should do in order...

1) Leak-down test is recommended for more accurate results on the problem. I.e. it will tell you if you are losing compression.

2) Compression test dry and wet, if you add oil in cylinder 3 and your compression jumps up, then your piston rings on cylinder 3 are bad. Otherwise your cylinder head valves are probably messed up.

3) Remove cylinder head and visually inspect them/poor water into runners.

I went through this mess with my car (cylinder 2 was reading at 110 psi while the others were reading 155), it ended up being 2 bad exhaust valves on cylinder 2.
