I just installed my ebay intercooler piping and need to get a flange welded on for my BOV, it runs perfect and everything works great i just have to wait til monday to get a flange on there, i drove it and of course theres major compressor surge, so im trying not to stomp on it til I get that welded.

How long before my 14b blows up? Can I drive it like that til monday? Thanx guys

Holy crap dude. Everytime you even have the gas on a little bit, not even in boost, your turbo is getting fu%ked. How come your ebay intercooler didn't have a flange for a BOV. I would say DO NOT DRIVE IT. You turbo is probably already f-ed.

If you want to kill your 14b and dont care then drive it. It will more than likly make it till monday, if you dont boost it and keep the car under vaccum. But since its a 14b its kind of hard. If is makes it then it will if not that will give a reason to buy yourself a 16g

wow imagine i got an ebay kit flanged for a 50mm bov and i am guess the only bov comes 50mm is the tial some one please correct me if i am wrong so i cant install it till i save up all that money for the tial bov damn that sucks

if you cruise it and try not to make boost, i see no problem. But like some say dont drive it ''better safe then sorry''. Especially on a DD.

Well update!! It BLEW UP! Just kiddin it still surges like hell even got a few runs on the highway and the turbo seems fine but monday there will be a BOV on there.

Oh and the intercooler and piping helped out quite a bit it pulls a lot harder than before.
