no boost in neutral when i hit the gas!!

k well the heading explains itslef. i dont get boost till im in gear. when i want to launch and i rev up, i dont get any boost. pretty much i take off at 0 boost. now is that normal? how can i get boost in neutral when i rev up?

thats normal. Read up on how a turbo functions. It has to have a "load" in order to build boost.

Boost requires spooling and spooling requires serious exhaust flow. When you're in neutral the engine is just spinning, not working, and so there's no exhaust flow and no spooling and no boost !
