hey there, i just did a huge project by putting a " jdm " motor into my 1g, well along with that i did several upgrades including a 3'' intake, well, for some reason now it dosnt " blow off " anymore, granted im only on 7lbs for the moment breaking in the new motor, but it would blow off at like 1psi on the old motor, i have a stock 1g bov, and i didnt know what would cause this, is it a possibilty, that on my new intake pipe, the bov dump tube is threaded, and could cause it to leak ?? i really dont know tho , its not TO important i just wanted to know whats up, thx

If the bov isn't opening it isn't a leak in the intake system most likely. Although the leaks will act like little BOVs when the TB slams closed it shouldn't stop the real BOV from opening. Are you sure the vacume hoses linked to the BOV are done so correctly.

im pretty sure they are, but im going to get another bov dumb hose and try it because i had to cut mine to make it fit with the new intake ( cut it shorter ) and its ap retty nasty job so im not sure, im gonna do a boost leak check later today
