I am wondering how the clutch wire is modified to run NLTS. I am having a chip made with a stutterbox and NLTS. I have a 1990 and I KNOW these are different for wiring than the 1991+ is.
I have read on ECMTuning's site that you cut both wires to the clutch switch and wire one of those wires to ground and one to pin 104 on the ECU harness. But I'm not sure if this is just for use with Link or if this is for use in general or what?
And what switch am I supposed to cut? I have heard there are two switches...one at the top and one at the bottom. Not sure which to cut or what.
Can I use straight wire? I have no cruise control or anything like that....I'm not sure what this "special wire" is that TMO and Keydiver at DSMChips talk about.
Any help would be appreciated.
