I'm running a 50 shot wet, how early can i have the nitrous come on?? I'm thinking 3500 or 4000 rpm, but is it ok to do it at 3000rpm, this would instantly spool turbo the sooner you can activate it. I'm looking for those with experience in this to help me out.

I have a ZEX wet system with just a 35hp shot, just to spool the turbo faster. I have it set to come on at WOT based on TP. I use that low shot just for that reason of not shocking the drive train with a large hit. I haven't had it on the dyno yet but it works, its like every other DSM something is always breaking.

Try and see becomes expensive. Keep spare parts around!!

That's why you ask here and see if anyone does what your wanting to do. I'm sure there are some more experienced nitrous users here they just haven't seen this post. I think 3500 will be fine as long as i dont get any detonation, which is why i'll load up some 116 octane fuel for my trials.

Ive heard its okay at 2900rpms for a 50 shot. I am in a delima at the moment to do this exact same thing so I will be keeping an eye on this thread.

My msd window switch set at 3000 on 6000 off. But also have a Hobbs pressure switch to cut solenoid power once 20lbs of boost pressure is met. but it all starts with the micro switch on the TB and the master arm in the cabin. Hmmm 4 switches to achieve one outcome.

So once Im at full throttle above 3k and have not reached 20lbs of boost the Nitrous is engaged. Once 20lbs or 6000 rpm is met the nitrous it taken off.

I'll let you know my results soon. My biggest worry now is whether or not i can feed my fuel solenoid off of the gauge port on my aeromotive fuel pressure regulator. I think since i'm only using a 50 shot that there will be sufficient amount of fuel supply from that port.

2GDSM_NC why do you turn the nitrous off at 20psi, why not continue to spray until right before you shift?

1: used just for spoolup purposes, once the turbo is hitting 20psi Nitrous is no longer needed.
2: Dont want to shift while any of it is in there or going. anyhow as the solenoid switch cuts it off no matter when I shift, If I'm not at 20psi by 6k then something is seriously wrong>
