Holly Crap I had less problems finding parts for a Delorian,

Anyone with a 90-91 AWD might Know this problem if ever encountered.
I Recently replaced the bad tranny in my car and first thing noticed, it seemed to
slip under heavy load, BUT no bad clutch smell. Turned out that my old trans had a bad Viscus Coupler and wasn't slipping power to the different wheels but was actually
locked up and sending the same power all the way around. This caused the recently
replaced front CV Axel's to fall apart like they were the originals ran Very Hard.
After i found this i inspected the others and found the Drivers rear was SNAPPED!
A Clean break in the middle of the spline.

OK so all i need is a new half shaft and for the FIRST time EVER i can drive My TALON
Like i never have been able too because i bought the car with a bad trans that barley
Drove. SO I THOUGHT.......................... :D

OK Ive been to every parts store in the city....Called all the Yards....Found the part
Number at AutoZone and payed them and ordered it... :thumb: Of course IT WASN'T EVEN CLOSE :notgood:
It Seem There is no such thing as a AWD DSM at parts stores. So my only chance is Dealer or Salvage> Well New its $580.....Screw that ill buy a 4 bolt right...
Used They Order it from another salvage yard in Maryland....I wait and what do u Know They send the Passenger side....And wont give me a Refund because they say it will work... Yea try ed that already IVE GOT 3 Don't NEED 4..............

What if Any Options do i have Can u have them made? Or Rebuilt? Ive try ed EBAY
but i don't Drive a Honda And i Don't want Neons. Am i Stuck Driving My 86 Nissan 4x4
that gets passed by pintos>? I JUST WANT TO RAP V - 8S Again! :rocks:

I just ordered a front set of axles from Marty at raxles.com and got them like last week for my 1992 Talon TSI AWD. Great guy to deal with. Now if only I could figure out how to seperate the intermediate shaft from the axle I'll be done.

I just did it a couple days ago and it wasn't too difficult. I used a small pry bar, some elbow grease, and a few swear words and it came out fairly easily.

believe it or not have a friend hold the axel in the air and hit the bearing housing with a large hammer it will come off, hold the axel in a vertical possition and strike it downward.

Pauly, if I remember correctly, I did it. I might be mistaken, but I swore that I was the one that pulled both the axles and split the halfshaft........ Jew.
