hello everyone. just bought my first dsm today :thumb: and loving it. got me a 99 gst spyder, white w/black leather and black top :thumb: anyone here from st. paul, mn as well?? heres my question, been reading and searching but couldn't find anything. one of my buddies told me that i should replace my gst bov w/a bov from a gsx. said it will make my car faster. i thought they both have the same bov?? some one shine some light on this? thanks..

The way your car is right now, putting a new BOV on it will not make it faster, it will just make it more ready for more boost later on. I recommend a 1g BOV, they're cheap, hold boost and there is one semi easy procedure you can do to make it hold even more boost.

I would def. get that one if you can. First contact the seller and ask if it works right, and doesn't leak(just for clairification). But that is definitely one of the cleanest 1g BOVs i've ever seen! Good price too! If you don't like that one, or can't get it, do a quick search on Ebay for "1g BOV"..That's what I typed when I just searched for you and about 10 of them came up. Goodluck :thumb:

PS You will need the 1g flange when you get this bov. You can get the flange off of Roadraceengineering for 15.
