wow the person you got it from has some money dumped into ths thing...very nice but get some lowering suspension and i suggestt some 99 gsx rims. i have a set brand new in the box never used i still have the stickers on the boxes they have the chrome lip..probly the sharpest rims iv ever seen..i am to scared to put mine on they are too nice haha. but i suggest you find a CHEAP set and throw them on. lowering suspension rims and some tint can make a huge difference.

I had a 90 Laser RS Turbo when I was younger, but didnt keep it long enough to get any work done to it, since it was PINK!!! that was actually my 1st turbo DSM.

I am a Mechanic by trade tho, and I'm no stranger to boosted cars either... I built a 91 Escort GT (Mazda 1.8 DOHC BP motor) and boosted it with stock JDM Mazda 323 parts. car did 198whp 219wtq on 14psi with an IHI VJ20 turbo which is probably a pinch smaller than a 14B

So I'm no stranger to boost or to building cars, just a lil new to the DSM world.... I'd like to get this thing around 350awhp, and Leave it there but i already know I'll get there and want more .

I'm picking up some stock 95 TSI rims today w/ tires... we'll see how those look

that escort is ausome my wife had one of those a while back, . it seems like you should already be pretty close to 350 with the setup its got, maybe just go get goood tune on the dyno...

Well what did it cost me... Technically $2500..... I had a 95 Mazda MX6 V6 that i traded for a 2000 Audi A4 2.8Q even trade, then traded the Audi for the Talon Even trade since the guy needed a 4dr for his 2 kids..

So since i paid $2500 for the MX6, aside from the lowering springs, rims and tires i had put on it, basically $2500

I do plan to get rid of the FMIC and intake, but for now it works

The P/O had attempted to get it up into the 300+ range,
without a tune, it did 230awhp on 17psi.... heres the video

Welcome. That Escort was pretty quick. The Talon's numbers aren't too bad un-tuned. It'll be much better with a good tune of course.

Yeah, some more boost, a better tune your good to go. Sign up for your local dsm club website. BTW thats a 2.5" exhaust.
