newbie question about non-running N/T value

found a 93 laser dohc non turbo for $300 obo around the block from me. timing belt snapped and hasnt been driven since november cos guy was hospitalized. he has head to replace current one for $50 bucks. it has injen intake, hp exhaust, and lowered with cheap coilovers. car is also primered to be painted and shaved emblems and what not. do you guys think this is a good deal or no? thanx.

i got a 92 n/a for 800 that was in ok condition but make shure the head is in great condition and the paint and everything i got for 300 (subaru wr mica) sprayers are like 50 and me and dad wetsanded all the primer off (7-8 hours) then painted it up nice, make sure to take of covers to stuff and look under stuff. i found the exhaust manifold had a huge crack in it....so be carefull but 300 sounds good if the interior is nice and the body panels are good

ya he said he hit someone and had a little front end damage but he fixed everything and it looked good to me. the a/c line somehow got cut but just needs replacing so i can have a/c. thanx again.
