I would of posted this in the log section but its rather noobish and I cant get my logs on my pc yet so here goes.
I just plugged in the logger for the first time and did a few runs and I have a few questions.

At WOT im getting 3-4 counts of knock and im wondering if everything looks normal so here is the WOT log copied from my palm.

On that run thats the highest I got the engine revved to and the highest I saw the Injector duty cycle at. Now my cars almost stock is it normal to see that knock?

On one of my second runs I belive I was in 4th gear and I pulled 12 counts of knock, this was the highest knock I recorded. Heres the log, does it look like everythings ok?

K and n filter

has a new fuel filter, plugs, wires.
I also have a set of evo 560s and an safc but havent installed them yet, I just want to make sure everything looks ok before I go further.
 
Im still working on that, I cant figure out how to get it from a .pdb file to something readable. I tried the program off Pocketloggers website to no avail. Its weird though because im not getting any or very little knock at WOT. The only time I get knock anywhere between 7-12 counts usally is at low rpm such as 2500-3500. Im not sure if this is phantom knock or what. I suppose part of it could be this crap 91 octane that we have to live with up here now.

Just out of curiosity, how did you get it to post like that? I was trying to post a log a few days ago and I couldn't figure out how to get it to do that for the life of me! Sorry to post off-topic!
 
How are you compensating for the hacked mas? That throws your airflow off, which messes with the fuel. That's probably why you're getting knock. If you still have the honeycombs, put them back in. Hacking the mas isn't a good mod when you don't have anything to correct for the changes.
 
All you have to do is type [C O D E] then paste your log then type [/ C O D E] without the spaces in between though.

I just have the silencer removed and the top of the can dremeled off. I have not touched the honeycombs.
 
I would do a boost leak test. Your mid and high fuel trims are indicating that the ecu is trying to pull fuel due to a rich condition. Do you have anything to tune with?

Also, you don't need to log all of those values. The only ones I find useful are: RPM, TPS, Timing, Knock, Injector Pulsewidth, O2-R, Airflow. I'll also throw in coolant temp once in a while so that I can tell if the engine was warm yet or not. Fuel trims only need to be looked at once an a while. Since they don't update very fast. It's not something to be logging all the time, more of a reference as to how your tune is sitting with the ECU than anything else.

Ok Ill give that a try, I made a boost leak tester last week so ill give it a try when it stops raining. Is it a necessity to put the engine to 30 past TDC? Thats gonna be a pain to do in the driveway but im guessing if I dont all the air im pumping in will just flow out the valves?

BTW its not smoking at all, black or otherwise. Although I am getting a kind of coughing/sputter at idle somtimes. It Idles a little low sometimes but mainly sounds like a cough.
 
Not a requirement. Just a suggestion. I don't ever worry about it. But then again I run my tests off of an air compressor and don't have to worry about running out of air if it's going past valves and out the exhaust. I generally don't have a problem and can pressurize my IC pipes up to 30psi with no problem. I think I'm going to do a BLT tomorrow too since I just installed new TB seals.

The first thing you need to do is get those FT's in line. Also, here are some suggestions for data to log, because honesty, that log is a nightmare to read. :D

Log when setting FT's:

Front O2
RPM
MAFS
All FT's

Log when tuning WOT

Front O2
RPM
Timing
Knock
IDC

That will make the log easier to read and maximize the number of samples per second.
