I remember brent rau was in the 6's as well a few years back, he was rocking a 2g body though. I guess the Aussies mean business as usual. GAS motorsports has some of the fastest 2jzs in Australia as well. Drag racing is pretty big out there.

Um....you guys DO know that there's no such thing as an Eclipse/Talon/Laser (no matter what generation) in Australia....right??? That car was built and raced by Big Len (solid lifters/tensioners ring a bell??) in Florida before Jett bought it.
