New wheels!!!

They're pretty spendy aren't they?

Can you do me a huge favor? download the brake templates for the Stoptech and Baer Track big brake kits and see if either one will fit the wheel?

Good info to have for the archives. Not that much info out there for what wheels work with what brake kit.

I got them for $210 each shipped, which I don't think is too bad for a wheel that is the size I wanted and only weighs a pound or 2 more than a Volk or something like that in the same size. The finish looks pretty nice to.

I'll do that brake template thing for you. I started looking at the Baer site. There is a different download for 1G/2G and FWD/AWD. At least there is a different button to push. Are they all really different? Which would be the one with the tightest clearance?

I'm not sure what the differences are between the 1G and the 2G. I do know that the Stoptech caliper isn't as tall as the Baer's BPR, but is narrower. So while the BPRs will clear most wheels on the spokes, they won't clear some wheels with thicker cross sections.

Stoptech's Mitsu template page is here:

Thanks.
