Hey just picked up a fresh set of evo8 wheels.. I don't have my car and WON'T :( have my car for a few weeks so I wanted to see what size tire to buy for the rims.. Lowered 2 inches.. Need tires will I rub?

I have done mad research and it seems evo8 rims are 17-8 with a 38mm offset and it seems 40 is perfect for a 2g so 38 is close right? Ok also I am lowered on kyb agx and megan springs 2inch drop ... Right now the rim has 245/45s on it and they are bridgestone blizteks or something.. I need to get some summer treads so I was wondering if I would get away with putting 225/40 on these sexy rims? Any input will help ANY!!!!!

Stock size for the Evo is 235/45 and many people are running these rims, so you'll be fine with that size.

Snowborder714 runs 245/40 on those and I will be too after I get mine coated.
