OK,
Where to start.
The car is a 92 eagle talon Non turbo, 5 speed. But i dont believe it to be the 420a. I read the block code and it says 4g67 which I believe is the 1.8 ? It is a DOHC engine. It is using the 2.0 DOHC non turbo electronics.
Back in october before I bought the car, I had got it running for a friend, but then soon after he bought a honda. The dsm had all the turbo 4g67 parts on it and ran (started and idled), i have since then removed all the turbo accessoires except for the intake manifold and the turbo inlet elbow.
Now the car will not start.
It has Fuel, spark, cam timing,firing order,decent compression (130's (+ or - 4))
And i am baffeled.
Now i did rig up the intake tube. IN other words im still using the turbo intake elbow with the N/a intake kind of clamped on. I had assumed that this would not cause a no start issue, i could be wrong and plan on swapping it out for one i modified this aftenoon. (Cut the flange off and welded on a 2 1/4 --> 2 1/2 reducer.
It also dosent currently have an 02 sensor. Im getting one of these later this afternoon as well.
What else am i looking at?
