just bought my first dsm. its a 92 talon tsi awd. info on car in my profile all i know about the car is there. i drove it home and it was idling at like 500-600 rpm and wanting to stall-out. but once i got moving it pulled real good especially in boost! but as i watched the boost gauge it climbed to 21.5psi just before red-line but was fuel cutting from 5000-7000 i knew that was a lot of boost so i turned it down to 15psi. turned idle up to 800 and smoothed out nicely. on the rest of my drive at 15 psi it was still fuel cutting at like 4000and wouldn't go any further got to my house and was going to mess with it in the mourning. got up the next mourning started the car idled fine left my neighborhood pulled boost good all though the rpm's then a mile down the road it was bucking with no throttle response i barely got it in a parking lot and it died hasn't started since? can someone please help me???

Sounds like the car was running a little rough. I didn't see anything listed in your profile for tuning, does your car have DSMLink, SAFC or similar? I'm guessing the car wasn't tuned properly and was running rough because of that. You need to have a proper tune when you have bigger injectors in the car and turn up the boost, maybe not your fault but possibly the previous owner?

Running rough like that could also be something as simple as a boost leak or multiple small boost leaks.

When you say the car isn't starting, is it not cranking (nothing happens when you turn the key) or the engine just isn't turning over and firing up?

This tech article is a great place to start and help you diagnose the no-start:

i dont know about having a tune? i read on here about fuel filters being trouble so i pulled the line from the fuel rail and no pressure when cranking because i found out from here that the fuel pump wont pump unless cranking. pulled fuel filter out cranked again and still no fuel? when i stop cranking i hear humming from the back of the car for just a second or two pump noise maybe? the guy i got the car from said it had a walbro 255 pump with hot wire kit. but i pulled the fuel pump panel in the hatch and the top of the tank looks untouched? but the hot wire kit is there.

i had something similar with the boost like that and it was a stuck wastegate just throwing it out there

We'll worry about the tune later, let's try to get your car started first. :)

Yes, the humming noise you hear in the back is the fuel pump and if you're hearing that it means that the fuel pump is powering on. If the fuel pump is powering on but it's not pumping fuel that makes me think it's not wired correctly. I would check the wiring/wiring kit for the fuel pump, make sure everything is connected properly and there's no damage to the wiring.

Chances are you have a Walbro 255 fuel pump installed, the wiring kit wouldn't be there if it was still the stock fuel pump. FYI, you wouldn't be able to tell from just looking at the top of the fuel sending unit, you would have to pull out the fuel sending unit to see the actual fuel pump. Also, if you can clearly hear the whining/buzzing noise of the fuel pump from inside the car then it most definitely is an aftermarket fuel pump.

It could also be the fuel pressure regulator. To check the fuel pressure regulator, disconnect the hose from before the fuel pressure regulator and see if there's gasoline in it or not. Then check the line after the fuel pressure regulator, if the line before is wet with gas and the line after the regulator is dry you know that's the reason you're not getting fuel to the engine.

Is there another fuel line going to the rail? Standing in front of the car on the left side of the rail is the fuelline from the fuelfilter. On the right side of the fuel rail is the regulater it just looked like vacuum hoses going to it not fuellines?
