Ok first of all hi to everyone I'm new to dsm's and this form normaly I'm a Nissan 240 owner but went as far as my sr could go and turned it into a track only car oops I guess but it one hell of a ride as for the dsm I just wanted something new different and awd for a daily so hear I am and I need tons of help since I don't really know these cars and motors at all what I have is a 97 eagle talon tsi awd 5spd red, Evo 3 7bolt motor 660cc injector 255 walrboro fuel pump ,fuel lab fpr, Evo 3 16g turbo, 3 inch turbo back exhaust no cat , front mount intercooler, injen intake stock 2g MAF with KN filter , 272/264 hks cams, 2100 act clutch kit stock flywheel, hallmann boost controller, eprom ecu with dsmchips stage 3 street tune now this is what I was told when buying the car don't know how much is true haven't had time to dig in and find out yet was looking for some insight on the car and where to go from hear I would like to run stock cams and 15 psi also I need to know if the parts for a evo 3 motor are the same as stock 97 talon partsi ask cause I just changed the coolent temp sensor cause the fan wasent kicking on when I got the car and now I can't start the car when cold unless I unplug the sensor and hit the gas peddle when I am cranking the car over but with the old sensor it starts fine

Maintenance first and foremost. You said you want to run stock cams and 15psi... why are those your goals? 15psi on a t25...hx40...gt42. PSI is simply a measurement of pressure, not power.

Look in the tech guide as that will give you a good place to start. Welcome to the DSM world, say good bye to everything in your wallet;)

P.S. you made two threads of the exact same thing and both were missing the "u" in the word forum.

Welcom to the forum:)

Some good reading material here to get started.
Tech Guide - DSMtuners

Also the 7 bolt should be the same as what is in 95-97 TSI,GSX. So parts interchange.

As far as the coolant temp sensor. I would think you may have replaced the wrong one. Should be three if I remember right. One for the guage, one for the ecu, and one for the cooling fans.

I say stock cams and 15 pounds cause I want to daily the car the cams in there are not to good for daily driving there ok but not what I want and 15 pounds on a evo 3 16g turbo witch is whats in the car because it is just a safe number in the sr20 so I figured it be a safe bet for the 4g63 but what I really need to know is about the parts for the evo 3 4g63 vs the stock talon 4g63 are they the same and y does my car not start when cold after I changed the coolent temp sensor

Welcome to the wonderful world of DSM!:D
A piece of advice.. use this forum and all of its awesome knowledge, follow the rules, and contribute when you can!

I have been in the DSM game for quite some time now but have been a "lurker" for years.. so good job on registering right off the bat!:applause:
it's a great community!:thumb:

I'd re-title the thread, but I have no idea what the OP wants out of this post. LOL.

Lol I'm not really sure either.

OP- don't mod a single thing until you have done ALL maintenance. The 4g63 is not the same as an SR20 so just because something worked well on an SR20 doesn't mean it will work well on DSM's. Many people run much more than 15psi with just ARP head studs (assuming you have the supporting mods. Fuel system, tuning solution etc...).
