straightlinespeacialties.com comes with a lifetime warranty
So does this one, and no multiple month wait for the product. :thumb:

whats the wait time to order/buy one?
These are litterally finished and on the shelf. All they need is the desired wastegate flange welded on. They usually ship 1-2 days upon ordering. It's probably the only manifold in it's class that doesn't have a long wait time associated with ordering. :)

Wow! Thats awesome, he must have been making these for a long time to start selling them off the shelf! Thats great someones doing it and not keeping your car down for a friggen manifold.

Woot mine will be here tomorrow. I would have had it sooner but ####ing fed ex home service sucks ass. Private couriers paid to deliver packages FTL :(

Oh yeah Jake is a stand up guy and very smart. He hooked me up with a couple of one off peices from his personal car and was very friendly when I talked to him. His warranty for this manifold is now lifetime to the original owner of the manifold. His work speaks for itself in that he ran it on his 9 second drag car without any issues to speak of. So if you want a little piece of mind, the warrant is now there, but I doubt you will ever have a reason to need it.

Paul, Chris, and TJ... Thanks for the good words guys! Same to everyone else.

I just wanted to jump in quickly and comment on some of the posts.

The lack of a Warranty was brought up. I just wanted to explain that as I was working out the details of the warranty. Because I didn't have all of the specifics worked out, I couldn't state any warranty. Now that the details are there, I am proud to offer a Lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. The details of this can be read in greater detail on my web page, or I can tell you one on one. Anyone can say they offer a warranty... I wanted to make sure you got the coverage everyone needs. Basically, any failure during normal use, will be replaced. The bottom line is: I don't worry about these manifolds failing, and neither should you. :thumb:

I also want to just say: I am a racer, builder, fabricator. This means that over the several years of ordering products and dealing with many companies... I have had the same excitements and disappointments you guys have. Many companies will EXPECT that you are going to wait 3-4 months or MORE for your manifolds to be made. It is amazing how many of these business owners will tell you 2-3 weeks when you order (and pay) for you products. In my eyes... This is simply crap. Who wants to wait an entire season for one product to arrive, especially after paying top dollar for it. As a racer, I have taken cash out-of-pocket to make these manifolds in a fashion that will allow them to be the same material and quality as anyone else's, at a much better price. In addition, I am keeping these IN-STOCK. Like Paul mentioned, I get everything done minus the wastegate flanges. After an order is made, I weld these on and ship the manifold the next business day. This is the situation for all of the current manifolds I am making. The Bottom mount T3, the Top Mount T3, The Divided T4, the Top Mount RWD (soon to be a awd and fwd topmount), and before too long the intake manifolds.

The bottom line is that I love being able to help with projects and builds. I am going to try to offer the help needed to as many people as I can. I know that I am not always going to have what people are going to need. I will try though. It is extremely gratifying to me that I am at a point in my life where I am able to offer what I am. So if anyone has questions, or needs help with something... Check out my site JHRacing Home Page or email me [email protected] and I will do what I can to help you.

Such nice work.. to me the puzzling parts are what you weld first and more about the assembly, but then i'm more of a fab guy than anything so i look at metal as a medium to build with more than the final product that comes from it... I loves me some metal and especially some beatifull work like that. Needless to say i won't be attemtpting to make anything that intense for years to come, but now that i'm TIg'ing i guess i can dream LOL

Great mani, let us know how it performs

hey jake i know you emailed me back last nite, but it sure would be awesome if you made a downpipe and dump tubes for this setup:thumb:...

A downpipe would be a bit tricky. It would need to be platform specific, and turbo specific. That would draw a relativily large complication by itself. Dumptubes probably wouldn't be too difficult though.

Just finished my downpipe for mine last night:

Nice looking DP, and you're right there's so many combos it would be a business in it's self to make he DP's to fit them all... Just like that one place that does almost every O2 housing you cn think of (forget the name at the moment)

What grade of steel is that and is it MIG or TIG? Great looking piece either way :thumb:

My DP is all 304 SS, TIG welded. Same with the wastegate dump tubes.

You nailed it on the head. I used to always make the DP's on the car. They didnt all need to be exactly the same, but they all fit either way. Once I can recoop on same funds, I am going to be making some to fit the more popular applications. The 3" ones like Paul's or a gt40r, and the 4" like I had on my awd setup. :thumb:

PS: TJ, send that email again, I dont even remember what you asked?... WTF ROFL
