new suspension, noisy rearend

Somewhat of a Newbie question so I apologize in advance, just didn't want to hear a newbie's explanation for my problem.
First off, I'm in Afghanistan so this is second hand trouble shooting from my dad who just drove my car home from the shop after pouring uncle sams money into it.
I put on a combo of Tien springs and kyb agx's all around with rx7 wheels.
There is alot of noise coming from the rear, pops and cracks constantly. I knew i was putting on relatively aggressive suspension for performance, but my from my dad's point of view it is very much annoying and not enjoyable to drive due to the noise. Could the shop which installed it (in Iowa, the land of no imports) have messed something up? or is it totally normal? is there a break in period for new suspension ? or did i just put on a bad combo?
any feedback is a big help, i searched the forums prior to posting and got nada.

That's a really good combo. Aggressive suspension don't mean cracks and popping sounds, they mean stiffer and decreases the roll when turning. I would take it back to that shop.

You may have one or a few bad bushings in the rear. Ask your dad to find some shop that will provide a free check of where the noise is coming from or take it back to the shop where it was done. If it is a constant noise, it shouldn't be that hard to find to source.
