new starter, strange sound (video)

Starter went bad so it was time to replace. Just now finished putting in the new one and it makes this strange sound when I try try to start. It sounds like the starter motor is spinning but it isn't engaging. I can get it to start around the third try. I'm wondering if this is a FWD starter and by starting it two to three times could I have chewed my flywheel up? Here is a video of the sound...

Oops sorry i meant starter. Flywheel haha my bad. I think maybe you might have wrong starter. Starters for manual and auto cars are different from what i just researched.

Haha yeah i was thinking about it messing up his flywheel when i was typing. But seriously you need to replace that starter with a new starter.
