new springs!

Just finished the install yesterday with the help of a local dsmer. they are tein s-tech springs and so far so good. they look great and got rid of my wheel gap and questions or comments would be appreciated. thanks for looking!

Car looks really good, the springs look like they put it at the perfect height(looks-wise, anyway). How do they feel on the stock shocks? Thanks for the post.

anyways this is the only picture I had with my new camera, the rest are crappy quality. I hope you get the general idea. If not you can check my gallery for some more shots of before. It was rated at a 1.1 inch drop for front and back and I think it did just about that.

so thats how 1.1 inch drop would look like? i wonder how a 2 inch drop would be. my spring currently stock, and the wheel gap is large. 1.1 inch would be nice.

Nice. How is the ride quality now? Are you still using stock shocks? I'm wondering, because within the next 2 months or so I will be getting springs and shocks, and I don't want it to ride too rough on the things they try to pass off as roads here. Height looks about perfect, in my opinion.

I still have the stock shocks on. The ride is pretty much the same except I have to go pretty slow on speedbumps and crawl into my driveway . The install is easier if you get coilovers though. I had some rust do deal with in the front so the front took a couple hours(due to power steering) but the back only took about half an hour to install.
