Hi, I have just received my kit of a master and slave cylinders for my 92 gsx.

Was quite easy to remove the old slave, and found out that the rubber ring of the slave was totally aged and was leaking a lot! I will order later a kit to rebuild it in order to have a spare for the next time.

My old slave is quite different from the new one. The cylinder housing is the same, but, in my old cyl, bot bleeding and eyebolt conector are on the same side. The new one, has the bleeding on the same side, but the eyebolt is on the oposite, so I cannot connect the hard line from the master without interfeering with the rod.

What should I do?

BTW waht about the restrictor inside the slave? Should I remove it?

Where on earth did you get that new slave? I've never seen a slave made for our cars that wasn't as close as can be to the OEM part.

Order a new one from a vendor on here, or even just an autozone part should do. I prefer OEM. Yours can probably be made to work if you invested in a full SS braided clutch line. Mach V has a nice price on theirs.

Oh, and leave the restrictor alone. There is no performance benefit for a street car.
