new rings or not?

i overheated my car a while ago, no damage until now, looks like the HG is dont,but i took the cylinder head and took it to the machine shop, and im lookin at the piston #1 which has little play at Top of block.

All pistons have some play to them.

PTW + Wear

Depending on mileage and abuse on the engine, you may want to do a rebuild.

only cylinder #1 has play on it, whats PTW?
and im thinkin on doing rings and bearings, new belts.
car has 172k its auto,its DD and i dont abuse alot of it. and it was stock when i brought it, (at 160k)
turbo blew up, so the HG, so im puttin a e3 16g atm,
and fully rebuild Cylinder Head,

hastings, Grant or Federal rings any good?

Hastings are pretty good . Never had a problem with them.

Hastings and Federal Mogal will be fine, or get a set of NPR rings from ebay.

Look in my sig line for info on cylinder head rebuilding.
