Im agreeing with most everyone else, Id leave the black wheels on. Or have the white ones painted/powdercoated black or gray.

I think the black rim looks nicer too, or have these powdercoated black, and yeah 225/40R18 is factory diameter for a 1G (originally 205/55r16)

I would have personally went with a bronze/gold wheel. I have a thing for white cars and bronze wheels (then again that's what I own). Between the two wheels in the pic, I would go with the black, white wheels on a white car seem tacky to me....imo

To be honest bro, those look like a smaller version of the 28" wheels I see on Dodge Chargers or Chrysler 300s... if you get where I am going with it. Not my cup of tea.

But it is your car, and it depends on what makes you happy.

+1 on painting the new 1s black. DONT PUT THE OLD 1S BACK ON the new 1s just look more untacky. And 5 spoke is way over played. But paint the new 1s black and get some rubber on those rims. And +1 *1000 on reading the post (the whole thread) before responding
