This line here isn't attached to anything. Best I could find on Google searching was it was for a return line, but can't find where the other end connects. It also had what I believe was a catch can, but that wasn't attached either to anything or mounted, it was just kind of sitting on top of the transmission.

My second question is in regards to the lines shown above my brake booster. They seem to have been removed. I have no check engine light indicator for either of these two vacuum line concerns.

First picture is where the PCV is. Assuming you're talking about the line from it it goes to a nipple on the intake manifold.

The two solenoids are for the purge and fuel pressure. I can't tell if you have a 1G or 2G offhand (I'm guessing a 1G). Here are the factory diagrams for both.

I have a 1G. So the line from the valve cover goes to the intake manifold? And then the solenoids that have no lines on them are for the fuel pressure and purge?

First picture is where the PCV is. Assuming you're talking about the line from it it goes to a nipple on the intake manifold.
Just to add to this you need to get a PCV valve if you want to go back to the factory set-up. It appears to just be a straight through nipple and not a PCV valve coming off the valve cover there. The PCV has a much longer "hex" portion to it. Someone has eliminated the PCV and turned it into a crankcase breather

For the other 2 missing lines I wouldn't worry about. As long as there is a line going from the fuel psi regulator on the end of the fuel rail to the manifold you are good. Unless you have emissions testing then you may need to re-run the vacuum lines

So the hose from the valve cover can just hang out? There was also what I believe was a catch can just sitting on top of the transmission, but was not connected to anything.

I can verify on the other lines to the solenoids above the brake booster if the fuel rail has that line. I don't have any indicator lights on, so it might pass regardless.

But other than that, everything is fine as is as long as I don't care about factory?

I would connect the hose from the valve cover to some type of catch can. Otherwise you have oily air blowing out into the engine bay but performance/drivability wise everything is fine.

The fuel solenoid is used for "help" on hot starts and it disables vacuum to the regulator so there is more fuel pressure but I've never seen a car with it eliminated have any issues starting hot due to that.

I see, thank you. The catch can wasn't connected to anything, I'll get a picture of that and verify if the fuel rail to manifold line is there, I drove it about 40 miles to my house after purchase and had no issues related to either of these things, but just wanted to make sure.
