I doubt they are really 80W, they are more likey standard bulbs with a nice coat of blue paint over them. It's amazing how companies pump up the ratings of their bulbs.

I tried a set in my highbeams. I couldn't see shit, but I sure could annoy people with them. They were in the car for less than a week. I then drove a car with TRUE xenon lights.. I have been hooked ever since. I am in the process of collecting parts for a bi-xenon projector conversion.

I've seen a few but i would love to see some more examples!!

my vote goes to black, white can MAYBe pull of chrome. but highly feel against chrome the times ive seen it.

Isnt the stock look chrome? I wouldnt imagine there would be much noticable difference in the day from stock?

kinda, the inside is chrome, for reflective purposes. but the main front is chrome, imagine all that is black on those pics on page one is then chrome. VERY BLING. like, !OUCH! you blinged my freekin Eyes you bastard.

Ok does anyone have a picture of a black 97-99 front end eclipse with black projector housing? I know this is asking alot, but someone's gotta have one?

Ah, a true HID conversion.. that man has some intelligence!

You should be able to acomplish something similar with existing H3 projector headlights. The projector housings are a similar size.

AS stated i've had first hand experience not a physics/buttometer. The stock bulbs are 55w and my blue ones are 80w and light the road alot better than my stock. and they were like $20 bucks. So thats my experience definetly worth the money even though they are ricer bulbs.

They claim they're 80 watts. If they came in a package that looks like it fell out of a Power Ranger's utility belt, they aren't. Hold them up to a 55 watt bulb. If the filament isn't significantly larger, they're just "rated" 80w.

I don't know why people still buy the crappy ass blue bulbs. TRUE 100w H3 bulbs are $5 at Advance Auto Parts. Blue bulbs suck in the rain, glare way too much, and only last 2 months if you're lucky.

I was able to get these new Halos @ $200 bucks shipped. Kinda pricey still, but well I doubt they will go lower than $20 bucks in price later on anyway, so what the hell...

saying that cause I won't get my Talon for another two weeks probably and don't feel like taking off my stock 97 head lights in my RS now and than replacing it back again... otherwise I would take a pic of it on a car

But hey it's been a while now, a few weeks for sure, someone should already of posted a pic of them up on their car!
