well thanks to the advise given on my other threads, all parts have been ordered and have all slowly .... very slowly arrived, i just recived a no name mbc, apex safc, evo 9 injectors, evo 8 fuel pump, aem uego and i just did the 2g bov mod (http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/337223-how-make-your-2g-blow-off-valve-not-suck.html).
--------
Well first off the only thing i have installed out of that so far is the modded 2g bov, today i hit full boost and spiked pretty high to about 18 and i think i hit fuel cut, felt like a misfire kinda... will this be corrected once i set boost with mbc?
--------
aem eugo... read alot on it and didnt not find what to do with the white wire if im only doing safc... hook it up to pin 75?
--------
apex safc, how do i set it for evo 9 and evo 8 pump, i will eventually go get it dyno tuned but it is my daily and need it to run good meanwhile
--------
also can some one provide a link to a thread explaining what a logger is... i have no clue what it is, how it works or if i absolutly need one?

thanks guys

The EVO injectors typically run 585cc or more, so I would start by removing 23% across the board on every setting of the AFC. On the higher rpm's you can probably remove more, as the stock AFR is very rich, but watch for knock.

I'm not sure about the other stuff, but the mbc should correct the boost issue . just back it down a ways and make a couple of passes. and adjust in between passes till you hit the target your looking for. avoiding fuel cut.

A logger allows you to actually see the numbers the ecu does. (Ie, knock, coolant temp, o2 sensor voltage, fuel trims,....)

Search Pocketlogger, Mitsulogger, Evoscan, MMCD, Tunerstein.

Those are all types of logging software that is free. If you have a laptop all you would need is a OBDII cable to connect to your laptop.

thank you..... so about that white wire ...... ?

unless your running link you do not hook up the white wire. People hook up the white wire to the ecu to be able to log it in the link. Just weld a bung to the downpipe and install the sensor, then just follow the directions to hook it up to power and what not.
