Here is a pic of my Newly painted Laser, I did the Talon grill tail lights and front bumper conversion, as well as sill plates and steering wheel, logos. Has the OEM laser rear bumper. Had it painted Carrera Red Dupont color, with Jet Black roof, and sail panels, that are originally red on the Lasers. Also had side moulding painted body color, and mirrors painted body color. Let me Know your opinions??

My interior is a mess right now, whats the best way to clean all the body work mess off it, like dust and shit.????

Thanks, Clayton

It was a Laser, so It never came with one, doesnt have the ugly ass rear wiper either:)

Thanks, Clayton

That looks like my car man, I have a talon that was just painted blue and my spoiler was removed. I'll post pics soon and show you.

What do you mean clean it? The body until the paint settles? many recommend rinsing with water and a chami (yeah I don't know how the hell you spell it) but I recommend spraying it down with water and use those ultra soft Microtowels that you can pick up from wallyworld, they are blue and incredibly soft.

If you mean interior wise, Armor-All for the vinyl, Tuff-Stuff for carpets, Meguars Leather Cleaner for leather seats (if applicable), and Invisible Glass (in a can) for windows with newspaper to wipe them down after.

Oh BTW, car looks excellent. :thumb:

car looks excellent, leave the grill the way it is. really like the mirrors red too. maybe a little black grill material in the front, to protect that FMIC.

nice choice on color BTW, sweet ride! wish i could find a nice clean 1g AWD to do a project on.

good job!

Looks very nice. I'm planning on doing nearly the same on my Laser. My b-pillar will become black with the rest of the roof but the body molding will stay the black against the blue body color. I'd rather keep it looking like a Laser but the Talon front bumper looks very good on there.

Keep forgetting... was it only the '90 Laser that came with the smooth garnish? Still want to find one of those, paint it to match, and see about smoothing out the front end a bit to give a better sense of flow.

Regardless, had a '90 GS-T that still has that red and black. Yours looks wonderful though, with the gloss, instead of the matte corrosion that most have started picking up. :b Have to kick the friend I sold it to, after seeing yours. He's going to keep the black top, but switch the main body color for a powdercoated (if he can find a place that can do the panels) forest camo pattern.
