I'm about to run some oil lines and attach pressure switches, etc. I tried removing the oil plugs and both are not budging. My plan is to shock the threads with a ratchet extension and a rubber mallet, and maybe heat them up a little with a torch. Is this safe? I am concerned about the heat distorting the gasket and/or cracking the OFH from the mallet.

Thanks,

Doesn't need to be torched for an hour or nothing, you should be ok to heat it up for 30-50 seconds with a blow torch aiming directly onto the plug.

prob like an hour with a lighter if your limited to tools, jk

but it should come right out after that! I didn't even have to heat mine up, just some good ol elbow grease
