I'm looking for a replacement set of new, non-revised HLA (lifters) with the smaller oiling hole.
Reason being: I don't want to reduce oil pressure or flow more oil into the head. This is a road race car and I want to keep as much in the oil pan as possible while also keeping oil pressure reasonably high. I find that original OEM style lifters work just fine when they're kept in good shape and fed clean oil.
Unfortunately all I have now are used, high mileage ones in a mostly unknown state. I've run into enough loud clacking ones that I'd just like to start fresh with a new set.
That being said, is there any alternative to buying an OEM mitsu set for $600+ (I'm not even sure I can get the non-revised lifters from Mitsu anymore)? It seems as though every aftermarket manufacturer is only selling the 'revised' lifters with bigger oiling hole.
Any help is appreciated!
