new motor questions

i have some questions on buying a new motor, just the terms asociated with it, like core, what is this? and how much hp will the 2.2 stroker motor from howell produce?

Core refers to a used engine block you send back to them. Used engines don't grow on trees man. If you buy without sending them back your old engine, you pay more, since they now have to go out and find another one to build themselves. Not a big deal. You might be able to sell yours locally for more money anyways.

As for the hp numbers on the 2.2L, you really should throw that one in the search here. Kirby has it and posted an answer to this same question within the last couple weeks I'm sure. It depends on all your other mods and tuning.
