i made 422whp and 387trq on stock motor, stock head,stock intake, with a fp3055,680cc, stock ecu with afc and a 40 shot at 24psi

i hoping for more around 550whp without gas, but who knows??

its a 2.3, stage 5 bj head, fp2 cams, fp3065, bj intake, 75 TB, dsm link, all 3 inch intercooler piping, hybrid frt mount, 880cc, and a 100 shot of direct port, if any have similar setups let me know what kind of times and #'s your getting

I venture to say, 567hp give or take a few and 520trq give or take a few. :p

Nice setup. Now I know what to ask santa, LOL. I wish you luck with the numbers. Can you post numbers with and without nos? 1 quick tip, go and get it dynoed now, before making miles on the car. I talked to a local pro-racer and he explained that you better get the car instantly on the dyno, so you can tune your A/F ratio. Otherwise you are going to break in an engine with maybe a lean or rich condition and that's not recommended. But that's his opinion.

Please post your experiences with the FP cams. I see you have cam gears, have you dialed them in? Were they required?
 
yep, i believe chris was his name at comp, said advance exhaust 2" and retard intake 2", and thats it, but this is only with the early serial#'s, the newer ones are supposed to be fixed!!
 
All that and you still have wire loom on the radiator hose? :cry:

The rest looks $$$ and nice. I'd say upper 400's. :shhh:
 
actually i have new blue samco upper and lowers now, just havent taken pictures since i put them on.....LOL.....but that loom was new tho....LOL
 
it sure is, i have been lead to believe that there are few that make their own heaers, ss, obx, dnp,etc......my buddys has a ka24 turbo nissan manifold and got it from some specialty nissan place and come to find out its made by the same people that make the ssauto manifolds, obx used to make them for ssauto but no more.

one of my buds in columbia just bought a dnp manifold and you cant tell the diference except for the shift over of the dnp to the passenger side (welds,supports,flanges,tubing)
same quality, so i wouldnt be scared to buy one if i were you, as you can see i didnt spare any money on this motor, and i ask alot of opinions before i bought it and what i found out was THEY ALL CRACK, sooner or later. find a good one that someone will stand behind and a good price and buy it, but to some brand is all that matters!!

all that and your still using the 2g mas it looks like. go ems or get the gm maft setup. i use it and love it with my dsmlink. ill soon have ems


with your car tuned right on pump gas with now added injection such as water, alch, or meth, i see you putting down around 430-480 with the ablity of dsmlink with some type of injection id say 500 rang and with gas and that boost turned up i dont see why you wouldnt hit high 500 even 600. alsome setup its everything i got going besides im using a gt35r :thumb:

no, i have a maft

i went to that before this motor, and had pretty good luck with it!!

thanks man, my name on the dsmlink site is 1badgsx, i havent cranked it up yet (we are this weekend) but if you got some start out setting for the fuel and timing that would be helpful, ive gotten the deadtime and global pretty much fiqured, send me PM if you got any tips

looks like your still running a 95-96 7 bolt???......how did you deal with the cam position sensor behind the rear cam gear???... :dsm:

hey my name on dsmlink is eclipsegsx978, my fuel settings are with 950cc injectors so they would be some change in them. i havent yet put in my 2.3 motor and head but will shortly. on still on the stock 7bolt and running 26psi on 110 octane im seeing no knock with 20-22 degrees of timing at about 12:1 a/f. i dont know if you have tuned with link yet but it is just alsome the way you control your a/f and timing. no hp/tq numbers yet i plan on dynoing it before the 2.3 and after to see what i make.

once you get that motor broken in i dont see why your car wouldnt be a 10's car. good luck man and have fun with that i cant wait to put my motor in and boost the hell out of my car :thumb:

i dont see any mas in there and with him useing dsmlink means you still need one so my guess would be a 2g mas or a gm pull thru style.

hey what kind of coil on plug setup is that. and do you still plan on driving your car daily
